Why choose a camera by me?
Home

Well, I am a perfectionist by nature.  I have been shooting wet plate in the reenactment scene, so I know what you want in a camera.

Also, I am committed to providing the most historically correct re-creation possible.  I study originals every chance I get.  I even study originals in the vaults of the George Eastman House Museum of Photography.

. . .

A couple other notes:

I use historically accurate square cornered bellows.

All moving brass hooks and turnbuttons are felt-lined so turning them will not result in unsightly scratches in the finish.

Final finish is a spray lacquer just as used for musical instruments; this finish can be repaired or reapplied years later if camera becomes scratched through use.
