Well, I am a perfectionist by nature. I have been shooting wet plate in the reenactment scene, so I know what you want in a camera.
Also, I am committed to providing the most historically correct re-creation possible. I study originals every chance I get. I even study originals in the vaults of the George Eastman House Museum of Photography.

A couple other notes:
I use historically accurate square cornered bellows.
All moving brass hooks and turnbuttons are felt-lined so turning them will not result in unsightly scratches in the finish.
Final finish is a spray lacquer just as used for musical instruments; this finish can be repaired or reapplied years later if camera becomes scratched through use.
